US-501 in Horry County has reopened following a bad crash Wednesday evening.
Highway Patrol reports at least one injury in the crash at 501 and State Highway 548/Four Mile Road. It happened around 7 p.m.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time but has since reopened.
A News13 crew was on the scene as a damaged car was towed away from the scene. The car’s airbags were deployed and the front of the car was badly damaged.
It’s not clear what caused the crash or whether anyone will be cited or charged.
