Myrtle Beach Fire Department crews are battling a fire in Myrtle Beach at La Casona Mexican Restaurant.
Crews responded to the second-alarm fire at 7:21 a.m. Sunday.
The restaurant is located at 1901 N. Kings Highway.
According to Lt. Jonathan Evans, crews had to wait to go into the building because conditions were too dangerous.
North Kings Highway between 16 and 20 Avenues North has been shut down to traffic.
MBFR reports that no one was found in the building during the initial search.
