MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Multiple fire crews are responding to a plane that landed near the area of International Drive and Highway 31 in Myrtle Beach Friday afternoon.
Horry County Fire Rescue tweeted that crews from the department, as well as crews from North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue, are responding to a small plane landing at International Drive and Highway 31.
According to another update from Horry County Fire Rescue, two people and a dog were on board the plane.
Fire officials say the plane landed safely and there are no reports of injuries at this time. It is unclear at this time what caused the pilot to make the landing.
Horry County police tweeted that they were called to the scene as well. Police confirmed in the tweet that all passengers are safe and accounted for and traffic is not being rerouted.
