The person who died in a house fire in Conway over the weekend has been identified.
Robert Edge, with the Horry County Coroner’s Office, identified the person who died as Linda A. Butler, 51, of Conway. She died of injuries sustained in the fire.
Firefighters with Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire on Basswood Court Sunday afternoon, according to a tweet from the department. The fire started just before 4 p.m.
The South Carolina State Fire Marshal and the Horry County Police Department are assisting with the investigation.
