One person is dead after an early morning motorcycle crash in Horry County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 2:00 a.m. Sunday on Hwy 9 near Log Cabin Rd.
The Horry County Corner’s Office identified the driver as Matthew Turbeville, 30 years old, from Chadbourn North Carolina.
The Highway Patrol says Turbeville was traveling north on Hwy 9 when he ran off the side of the road and crashed the bike.
