LONGS, SC (WBTW) – A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Saturday night. 

That man is Larry Solon Gore, 67, from Longs. 

According to the Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick, Gore was pronounced dead at the scene around 9:20 p.m. Saturday. 

Gore died from injuries he recieved in a crash with 2007 Pontiac while he was driving his motorcycle on Highway 905 near St. John’s Road in Longs. 

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the Pontiac was trying to cross Hwy. 905 from St. John’s Circle when it was hit by the motorcycle. 

Gore was wearing his helmet. 

The driver of the Pontiac was not injured. 

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
