Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are responding to a fatal crash outside of Loris.
According to the Highway Patrol’s website, the incident happened around noon on Saturday on Highway 19 near the intersection with Highway 701 in Loris.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 37-year-old Amanda Tyler of the Loris area.
Tony Casey with Horry County Fire Rescue tells us that it is a single car crash on Highway 19 and Cane Branch Road.
The Highway Patrol says the Tyler was traveling north on Highway 19 when she ran off the road, struck a ditch and was ejected from the car. Tyler was not wearing a seatbelt and was the only one in the car.
