MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A police officer answered the phone when a man’s ex-girlfriend made a harassing call, according to a police report.

A man called police to say his ex-girlfriend was harassing him by phone call and text, according to an incident report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department. He reportedly met the woman online.

Both live in Horry County, but the man called MBPD because his ex-girlfriend was allegedly calling his working and pretending to be an officer.

The incident report said this “does constitute impersonating a police officer.”

At one point, the officer answered the phone and told the woman who he was and she allegedly cursed at the officer and told him her ex “was going to pay,” the report also said. The woman also reportedly claims to have given birth to the man’s child, but he said he had a vasectomy three years ago.

The officer contacted the Horry County Police Department, who reportedly said the woman had been arrested before for unlawful use of a telephone, the report adds. The victim said this happened last summer as well and that he used to have a restraining order against the woman.
