NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Rescuers are working to remove a vehicle found Wednesday morning fully submerged near a North Myrtle Beach marina.
Pat Dowling with the City of North Myrtle Beach says a car ran off the road and into the water near Anchor Marina overnight. Marina employees reportedly noticed damage to a fence when they came to work Wednesday morning and discovered the car underwater.
North Myrtle Beach crews were assisted by Horry County Fire Rescue’s dive team. According to Dowling, no one was found inside or in the vicinity of the car.
