No injuries were reported after a house fire Thursday afternoon in Green Sea.
Firefighters were dispatched to 6220 Strickland Road around 3 p.m. According to the department’s Twitter page, first arriving firefighters reported a working fire. The fire was located in the kitchen area and extinguished.
No word on how the fire started.
The Fair Bluff Fire Department was requested for mutual aid.
