MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County coroner’s office released the name of the man whose body was discovered in a ditch Wednesday night.
According to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler, the body of 20-year-old Daniel Doran, of Myrtle Beach, was found in a ditch near 4955 Highway 17 South in Myrtle Beach around 11 p.m. Wednesday. Doran’s cause of death is pending, adds Fowler, until an autopsy is complete.
Fowler says the autopsy will be performed Thursday, but the results could take three to four months to process. At this time, however, no foul play is expected, according to the coroner’s office.
Horry County police is investigating the incident, Fowler adds.
