On Tuesday, many local civic, government and business leaders became principals for the day in Horry County Schools.
That also included News13’s Chief Meteorologist Frank Johnson, who spent his day at Socastee Middle School.
He and the school’s principal on all other days shared some of what happened during the day.
“I’ve got two kids that have already been through middle school. So, this is really my first opportunity to see middle school from the perspective of a principal, or even a teacher,” said Johnson.
“Anytime I can share what I do with other people is exciting because I love what I do. It’s the best job in the whole world,” said Principal Lisa Melchione.
Frank will be back on the weather desk on Wednesday.
