MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A woman was arrested Friday for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old, according to an Horry County police report.
Betsy Cepeda Pedreira, 36, was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 16, according to an Horry County Police report.
The 15-year-old’s father suspected Pedreira was having sex with the teenager after noticing suspicious behavior, according to an Horry County police report.
The 15-year-old’s father bought a video camera and put it up in the teenager room, facing the bed, to catch the suspect having sex with the teenager, according to the police report.
On Aug. 8 the teens’s father went to his shop on Hwy 90 and watched the live feed video from the video camera he planted in his son’s room, according to the police report. The video showed the suspect having sex with his son.
The teen’s father showed Pedreira the video causing her to assault him, according to the police report.
The teen’s father contacted the police after showing the video to his son and Pedreira, according to an the police report.
According to the police report Pedreira refused to come out of the house to speak to police. When Pedreira finally came outside, she denied having sex with the teen.
Pedreira was released on Saturday, 24 hours after her booking date, with at $10,000 bond.
