Myrtle Beach traffic loop won’t be implemented Saturday night, MBPD says

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach traffic loop won’t be implemented on Saturday night, the Myrtle Beach Police Department says.

“Based on an evaluation of current traffic conditions, officials have decided not to implement the traffic pattern, also known as the traffic loop, tonight,” Cpl. Vest, with the MBPD, said in a press release. “We will be deploying traffic enforcement teams to Kings Hwy to address congestion and to ensure the safety of our residents and visitors.”

The loop was not implemented on Friday night.
