MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Myrtle Beach Professional Firefighters began to distribute Christmas presents to 25 less fortunate children this holiday season, funded through proceeds from their annual “Breakfast with Santa” event.
On Sunday, Linda Holoman and her two great granddaughters, Kymya and Kyema Simmons walked from their home down to Myrtle Beach Fire Station 1, where Santa came to give them each a Christmas present and candy canes.
The Myrtle Beach Professional Firefighters Local 2345 has given the pair of sisters a gift for the past three years.
“They have been so great to my two little great grands ever since they were small and much younger,” Holoman said.
“It makes me super happy because I’m thankful for whatever they give me,” Kymya Simmons, one of the gift recipients said.
The Myrtle Beach Professional Firefighters worked in conjunction with the Myrtle Beach Fire Department to hand deliver gifts to the other local children throughout the weekend.
