Operation Stand Down” starts Friday, the event is meant to help veterans in the Grand Strand area that are homeless or at risk.
Much of the goods are Department of Defense surplus including ruck sacks, sleeping bags, and clothing.
The event takes place Friday at the Armory on Phillis Drive near Market Common from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
