MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach city council workshops will now be televised live during the two regularly scheduled meetings each month.

Myrtle Beach leaders meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. for the city council workshop. A Facebook post from the city states council members requested the workshop discussions be made available to those who are unable to attend. So, the workshop meetings will be televised live on local cable so community members can tune in on the conversations.

The workshops, which begin at 9 a.m., as well as the meetings, slated for 2 p.m. on the same days, are held in the council chamber at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center, located at 1101 North Oak Street.

The community is also invited to attend the workshops or meetings in person.

The next scheduled workshop will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. It’s expected that council members will discuss the Accommodations Tax budget in the workshop and at the 2 p.m. council meeting.
