NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Hundreds of people rocked out on the city’s oceanfront Thursday night.

Arena rock band Black Glass played as part of the city’s Music on Main series. There will also be rock, R&B, Motown and variety bands for the rest of this summer.

The concerts at the end of Main Street allow people to set up their beach chairs and relax, or dance the night away.

“It’s absolutely free, so everybody comes out really early, gets a front-row spot,” said city event and program coordinator Kaitlyn Bell. “The community loves it and it’s really just a North Myrtle Beach vibe down here in the “horseshoe.” So it’s family-oriented, family-friendly, everybody loves it.”

Music on Main is held every Thursday night from 7 to 9 until the end of September.
