A Murrells Inlet law firm is providing sand and sandbags to community members for free.
The Joye, Nappier, Risher and Hardin Law Firm in Murrells Inlet has a pile of sand and sandbags at the firm, across from the Beaver Bar, on Highway 17 Business. The sand and bags are free of charge.
“I’ve been practicing law here in Murrells Inlet for 20 years. Everybody here is a member of the community or surrounding communities, and it’s more than just clients, it’s all about neighbors and friends,” said Scott Joye, a partner in the law firm.
Tuesday, more than 800 bags of sand were distributed. Wednesday, another truckload of sand and bags will be available free of charge as long as they last.
