MURRELLS INLET, SC (WBTW) – Murrells Inlet held their annual Christmas parade on Sunday.

The event drew thousands who lined up from Sunnyside Ave. to Wachesaw Rd. Different groups participated in the parade, including several local businesses and the Horry County Police Department, and Horry County Sheriff’s Office.

Some people attend the Murrells Inlet Christmas parade year-after-year, because they say it is a good way to start of the Christmas season.

“(I come) to see people, cop cars, and get candy. It’s like, we all just get together and just have fun,” Lannis Golsby, an Horry County resident who has attended the parade for the past four years said.
