The Horry County Police Department reports a missing 15-year-old initially reported missing has been found safe.

Police say Mackenzie Javens was found Sunday morning at around 9:15.

HCPD said Javens left her home on Tap Root Court in Murrells Inlet on Friday night.  She was seen by neighbors on Feb. 22 around 6:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s on Highway 707.

At that time, she was wearing a black hoodie, brown capri leggings, and brown Ugg boots.

Javens was considered at-risk because she requires medication that she did not take with her when she left.
