A coastal flood warning has expired, but still, watch out for some minor flooding. According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, their tide gauge at Myrtle Beach has risen to 8.65 feet above lower low mean water — that’s the highest level since Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and could be one of the top 5 water levels on record for this point!
As low tide is expected shortly after 2pm Saturday, we’ll see the threat for coastal flooding going down.
