Midway Fire Rescue will host an open house event on Saturday.
Jackie Broach, the Public Information Officer for Georgetown County, says in a press release the event will run from 4-7 p.m. on July 28 at Fire Station 81, located at 67 St. Paul Place in Pawleys Island.
The release also says attendees will be able to tour the station’s fire apparatus and water rescue equipment, collect fire and life safety materials, ride on a fire engine, and meet the crews who work with Midway Fire Rescue.
According to the release, the open house event is in conjunction with the St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church’s Annual Peach Festival.
