Myrtle Beach, SC (WBTW) – Emmy winning actors Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfield are in Myrtle Beach to promote their new movie “Guest Artist” at this years Myrtle Beach International Film Festival.
Melissa Gilbert is an Emmy winner, having starred in over 50 television movies and feature films. She rose to fame as a child actor on the TV show “Little House on the Prairie.” Gilbert is also a director, producer and NY Times best-selling author.
Timothy Busfield is both an Emmy-winning actor, producer and director. He starred in the breakout TV hit “Thirtysomething” and has had recurring roles on “The West Wing” and “Entourage.” Busfield has appeared in over 40 television movies and feature films, including “Field of Dreams,” “Stripes” and “Revenge of the Nerds.”
Gilbert will join the “Film Talks” panel discussion at the festival on Thursday to talk about producing “Guest Artist, ” which was written by and stars Jeff Daniels. Busfield directed the film.
The couple’s movie debuts Tuesday night at the Grand 14 Theater in Market Common.
