The Georgetown Unity Alliance is holding the 2nd Annual Melting Pot March, Saturday, March 24th. They are asking interested participants to meet at the Winyah Auditorium on Highmarket Street at noon.
After an hour of socializing, the march steps off at 1 PM and travels about a mile down the road to the Howard Adult Education Center on S. Kaminski Street. At the end of the march with will be socializing, music and food including chicken bog, ice cream and drinks.
The march aims to join new friends and old to celebrate unity in diversity. The march is free. But you can still pre register and purchase t-shirts for the march at fb.me/GeorgetownSCUnity or on Eventbrite.
