The man whose body was found near railroad tracks in Georgetown has been identified. 

The man was identified as Paul Tucker, of Georgetown, according to a post on the Georgetown Police Department’s Facebook. An autopsy was conducted on Thursday at MUSC and preliminary results showed no signs of foul play, pending toxicology results. 

The Georgetown Police Department responded to the area of N. Hazard Street and Prince Street around 2 p.m. on Tuesday in reference to a body in a ditch beside the railroad tracks, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page. The body was recovered with help from the Georgetown City Fire Department and the Georgetown County Coroner’s Office.
