A man reportedly fell into a fire in Georgetown County, resulting in hospitalization Friday night.

Georgetown County Fire Chief Mack Reed tells News13 his department received a call about someone falling into a fire on Keever Street in the Graves area.

Chief Reed says the man was transported to Georgetown Hospital and then taken by helicopter to MUSC in Charleston.

The man’s name and condition have not been released.

It’s unclear what led to the incident.
