MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A man from the Grand Strand will appear on the new season of “Survivor.”
Chris Underwood, who is from the Pawleys Island/Myrtle Beach area, will appear on “Survivor – Edge of Extinction.”
Underwood currently lives in Greenville, South Carolina.
“That fun, relaxed style, the attitude toward life, all that comes from my home town,” Underwood said in an interview sent by CBS. “My mom is still in Pawley’s Island, one of the most beautiful places on the earth. I love it.”
The new season kicks off Wednesday at 8 p.m. on WBTW/CBS.
