LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Sure Trac, an Horry County company that builds axles, will bring 20 new jobs to the area with a planned expansion into a Loris warehouse.

The Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation says the company will invest $2.55 million over the next five years into Horry County – with a portion of that money being used to renovate an existing 62,500 square-foot facility off Highway 701 in Loris.

“Our family began Sure Trac in Horry County and it has proven to be successful. When picking the best location for the company to expand, we feel it is still in our hometown. Horry County and the state of South Carolina have shown us that they are supportive of our company and the expansion. We appreciate the assistance of Horry County, South Carolina, the business community and our Sure Trac employees,” says Dale Powell, Sure Trac, Inc.

Sure Trac, Inc. has manufacturing and distribution operations in Hewitt, Texas as well.

For the Loris location, the company will hire a variety of professional, skilled, and unskilled positions. Those looking to apply should visit the company’s careers page online or visit SC Works.
