LONGS, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Fire Rescue officials say the toddler reported missing just after 1 p.m. Monday has been safely located.

In a tweet just moments ago, officials confirm the 2-year-old girl is safe, but did not say where the toddler was found.

Multiple crews from Horry County police as well as fire rescue were assembling in Longs to search for the missing girl.

According to a tweet from Horry County Fire Rescue, firefighters were partnering with officers from Horry County police to find a child reported missing near 430 Quinta Street in Longs. Spokesperson for the department, Mark Nugent, says the little girl was reported missing around 1:05 p.m. Monday afternoon and found about 40 minutes later.
