LONGS, SC (WBTW) – A North Carolina man was killed in a car crash in Longs Tuesday night.
According to Cpl. Sonny Collins with South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened Tuesday night around 8 p.m. on Pond View Road in Longs. The driver of a 2000 Mercury was traveling south and ran off the road.
The vehicle struck a bridge railing, killing the driver.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden identified the victim as Harrelson Long, 60, of Tabor City.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
