Staff at WFXB teamed up with a credit union president and a grocery store owner to pay off some customer’s grocery bills in a Radom Acts of Kindness event.
Tim Carlisle, president of Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union, and Piggly Wiggly store owner Lester Cannon payed off the grocery bills of random customers at the store on 19th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
Effie Tucker was one recipient, she had gone to the store to pick up refreshments and was so surprised. “We thought you were kidding around.” She said before thanking everyone for their kindness.
