MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Valentine’s day is next week. Grand Strand Chef Tom Mullally stopped by the studio to show you how to make a sweet treat for your loved ones.
Mallally will be presented more ideas for sweet treats at the Spring Home Show on Friday at noon at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Home Show runs from Friday through Sunday, and details can be found on the show’s website.
The recipe Mallally shared at News13 was for no-bake oatmeal raisin engergy balls:
- quick oats – 2 cups
- raisins – 1/2 cup
- chopped pecans – 1 cup
- cinnamon – 1 tsp
- peanut butter – 1/2 cup
- honey – 1/2 cup
- vanilla – 1 tsp
- ground flax seed – 1 tbsp
- chia seeds – 1 tbsp
- MIX all together
- REFRIGERATE for one hour
- ROLL into balls
The balls can be refrigerated up to a week or can be frozen.
