Volunteers big and small came together to help clean up Horry County.
At the 5th Annual Burgess Community Clean Up, volunteers came together to clean up litter along community roads in Horry County.
Among the volunteers, the Environmental Club from St, Michael’s School and their teacher Liz Bradley.
Volunteers met at the South Strand Recreation Center on Scipio Lane, where they were treated to a nice breakfast.
After that, they were bussed to clean up litter along community roads like Holmestown road.
The event lasted until noon. Keep Horry Beautiful provided safety vests, gloves and bags.
