Three separate crashes on Highway 17 Bypass near SC-544 caused big traffic delays Friday night.
Highway Patrol reported the incidents happened shortly after 6 p.m.
Two northbound lanes of 17 were closed for a period of time near the intersection with 544. Those lanes reopened before 8 p.m.
A News13 photographer says cars were stopped at one point, with many people getting out of their vehicles while parked on the highway to try and see the crash site.
Lance Corporal Matt Southern with SC Highway Patrol told News13 that there were three separate crashes, but no one was hurt.
Highway Patrol remains on the scene. Troopers say state law allows vehicles to be moved from the roadway if there are no injuries and if it’s possible to move them.
