It’s been exactly one year since the death of local Myrtle Beach woman Missy Wesner Norket, who died from complications from the flu.
“She was fun loving, she was friends with everybody, she just loved life.” said Missy’s sister, Chrisie Jolly.
Norket spent her entire life arranging and helping to deliver flowers from her family flower’s flower shop Lazelle’s, the oldest floral shop in Myrtle Beach.
“It’s been quiet around here these days, I kind of miss her noise, a lot actually.” said Missy’s Brother, Reese Wesner.
To honor her, one of her co-workers took the time to create a special tribute in the front window of the store for everyone to see as they pass by.
“I have a big picture of her on one side to make a statement. To basically stop traffic. Because that is what she would do, she was larger than life.” said Brian Terounzo
