Myrtle Beach firefighters were called to a structure fire at a home near the Market Common area Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Essex Way at approximately 2:35 p.m. according to a post on Facebook by the Myrtle Beach Fire Department. Smoke and flames were seen in the garage area of the house.
Those living there were safely outside when firefighters arrived. Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and the fire was contained to the garage.
