Horry County is participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s “Toys for Tots” campaign this holiday season.
The program distributes new, unwrapped toys to needy children up to 12 years old.

“All of the toys do stay local in Horry County,” said Kelly Moore, Horry County public information officer. “Last year, Horry County helped about 1,500 families with ‘Toys for Tots,’ which is a little over 11,000 children.”
The donation boxes will be available until December 17th.
