More than 700 students showcased creative projects at Horry County Schools’ 9th Annual Technology Fair.

Students gathered for the event on February 27 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. More than 60 volunteers judged their work in several categories, including 3D modeling, animation, creative/innovative, digital game design, digital photo manipulation, graphic design, mobile app development, programming, robotics, video production and web design.

The Technology fair also featured a Lego League Robotics and Rubik’s Cube competition.

Taking top honors with best-in-show among all grade levels were:

  • Maya Adi, Alex Hyatt, Nicole Corona from River Oaks for graphic design
  • Olivia Borgman from Riverside Elementary for mobile apps
  • Carter Valentine and Cooper Simpson from Lakewood Elementary for web design
  • Sage Adams from Blackwater Middle for Digital Photo Manipulation, Tayson Patel and Alisha Patel from Socastee Middle for robotics
  • Durham Cribb and Calan Booth from Myrtle Beach Middle for video production
