CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – An Horry County school bus carrying 26 students ran into a ditch Monday afternoon, district spokesperson Lisa Bourcier confirmed to News13.
Bourcier said the bus was traveling from Kingston Elementary School in Conway. She identified it as “#16.”
“EMS has been dispatched as a precautionary measure,” Bourcier said. Another school bus will take the students home.
Bourcier didn’t indicate what caused the crash, but rain has fallen in some areas Monday. She said South Carolina Highway Patrol and the school’s principal were on scene.
