MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police received reports of several attempted car break-ins near Palmetto Pointe Boulevard in Socastee over the weekend.
A surveillance video sent to News13 showed someone attempting to open a vehicle door in the Palmetto Glenn Community early Sunday Morning.
“This has been an on and off problem we’ve had in the neighborhood over the past years,” Lynn Baer, the president of the Palmetto Glenn Homeowners’ Association told News13. “I believe it’s just a sign of the times which is very sad.”
Police urged people to lock their doors and contact investigators if they any information about any suspects.
