CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County will begin mosquito spraying, weather permitting, in unincorporated parts of the county on April 16.

Spraying will happen between dusk and 11 p.m., according to a press release from Horry County Government.

The county said the chemicals are EPA approved, but people with asthma or breathing problems may want to stay inside and close windows and doors.

Officials also say to rinse off any homegrown fruits and vegetables before you eat them.

Beekeepers are asked to contact the county and give the location of their colonies.
