Horry County is putting in place an outdoor burn ban for unincorporated areas of the county, according to a press release.
The ban has been put in place due to road closures and traffic impacting the area from the recent flooding.
The City of Conway has also put a burn ban in place for the same reasons, according to a press release from the city.
All outdoor burning is strictly prohibited during the ban.
The bans will remain in place until further notice.
