SC Highway Patrol says a woman drove a vehicle into a pond Thursday night in Horry County.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. along Shaftesbury Lane, off 905 near Caines Landing Road.
Troopers say a woman driving a 2005 Toyota was traveling south when she drove into a pond on private property.
Images captured by a News13 photographer show the vehicle in a few feet of water.
The driver was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center for what troopers called ‘very minor’ injuries.
Troopers say no other vehicles were involved. It’s not clear if the driver will face charges or citations.
Horry County Police and Horry County Fire Rescue also responded to the incident.
