SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A TV show on the cable channel HGTV called “Beachfront Bargain Hunt” will be shooting an episode in the town next month.
Town administrator Dennis Pieper said “Beachfront Bargain Hunt” would be coming to Surfside during Tuesday’s town council meeting. Pieper says HGTV’s crews will be in town to record the episode April 23-26. It’s unknown when Surfside’s episode would air on HGTV.
“Beachfront Bargain Hunt” has been on HGTV since 2013. According to IMDB.com, the show helps families find affordable, beachfront properties. In an episode that premiered on March 10, a family from Madison, Wisconsin, looked for a house in the Myrtle Beach area.
