On Friday, Horry County students attended the Second Annual Health Science Career Fair at Conway High School.
The fair featured professionals from Conway Medical Center, Grand Strand Regional Medical, McLeod Health, Pee Dee A-HEC, and Tidelands Health.
“As our population continues to age, we need young professionals stepping into these roles and building careers to provide that care and be those leaders for that population that needs those health care services,” said Jesse Lifton, the Director of Volunteer Services for Grand Strand Health.
About 400 students were there learning about the different jobs they could have in the medical field.
