A graduation ceremony was held on Thursday for a group of firefighters from Saudi Arabia who spent the past six months training with Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.
The graduation ceremony happened at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot.
The firefighters work for Saudi Aramco, an oil and gas company.
They learned skills here to take back to their organization and also helped out during Hurricane Florence.
“It’s, to us, so easy to be involved in the community because the people here are so friendly, and we can not thank them enough. Not only the people in the firehouse, but also the people in the street. Thank you so much,” said Fayez Alsulami, with Saudi Aramco.
