Georgetown County Schools will remain closed starting Monday September 24, according to a press release.
This is due to evacuations notices and preparations for the anticipated river flooding. Georgetown High School and Waccamaw Middle School are being used as public shelters.
Several school campuses are at risk of substantial flood damage.
