Ahead of Hurricane Florence Georgetown County Emergency Management has moved to OPSCON 3 Sunday at noon.
According to a press release from Georgetown County OPCON 3 means, a disaster or emergency situation is likely or imminent. The county’s Emergency Operations Center is partially activated.
Florence is expected to strengthen into a major hurricane today and tonight.
South Carolina Emergency Management Division has also moved to OPCON 3 Sunday morning.
