CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – The annual police officer memorial in Conway was held Friday.
The Horry County Law Enforcement Memorial honors and remembers those who have died while serving their communities.
“To show the families that their family members have not been forgotten. That we still honor them every day that an officer pins on a badge in this county,” said KC Canterbury, President, Coastal Carolina Lodge 12 Fraternal Order of Police.
The Fraternal Order Of Police Coastal Carolina Lodge 12 hosts the memorial.
The fraternal order said some 35 officers were killed nationwide this year.
